The vintage is comparable to the prestigious 2000, rated above the maximum score of 5 stars E. Spring was warm but not dry, with scarce but regular rainfall. A warm summer arrived slightly early, while autumn offered ideal conditions for vine health and perfect grape ripening. Winter was mostly snowy, helping keep water reserves at an optimal level until the harvest. The resulting wines are marked by great intensity, high complexity, and a clear fruity profile.
