2006
Construction of Cantina Sabaini
The decision to build the Winery in Via Mormontea 6A, Illasi, was motivated by the need to make wine from all the grapes grown on the business’s vineyards. And so it was that from 2006 to 2021, Adolfo and his wife Mirca Rossetti devoted their efforts to fermenting the grapes and selling the wines obtained to bottlers from Verona and further afield.

The new generation

With the entry into the business of the couple’s sons, Riccardo and Alberto, came the idea of putting the Sabaini trademark on the bottles. 22 July 2022 saw the official opening of the Cantina Sabaini Wine Shop, offering visitors the chance not only to purchase wines, but also to find out more about the history and geography of the Val d’Illasi, thanks to the passion of the Sabaini Family for the wine they make. The opening of the Wine Shop coincided with the launch of the new upside-down S logo, taken from a painting by the architect and artist Guido Pigozzi.
